QR-codes, AI and the art of real connection

“Service without a soul"

You know the drill.
You go out for dinner, there’s a QR code slapped on the table, you order your food yourself, pick it up at the bar… and then the payment terminal cheerfully asks for a tip.

A tip for who, exactly?
For myself?

It says a lot about how things are going: everything has to be faster, cheaper and “more efficient.” Great for margins maybe, but it strips the soul out of service.

And AI Works the Same Way

Don’t get me wrong: I use AI. I actually love it. It’s super handy.
But if you think AI will call your client back, set your priorities straight or understand when something needs a personal touch — you’re fooling yourself.

AI delivers output.
But AI doesn’t build relationships.

Real Service Is More Than Just Tasks

Whether you’re in a restaurant or running a business: you want to be seen. Taken seriously. You want someone who says:

“I’ll take care of it.”
“This can be done smarter.”
“How are you really doing?”

That’s service.
That’s human.

That’s Why I’m a VA

Yes, I use AI.
But I’m the one making sure your business doesn’t turn cold and impersonal.
That your clients aren’t just numbers.
That someone is thinking along with you, making decisions and adding context.

And the best part: I work fully remotely. So whether you’re in Breda, Berlin or Barcelona — I can support you. My work doesn’t stop at the border.

What It Really Comes Down To

AI is useful. QR codes are useful. But they’ll never replace a human who makes real contact and actually helps.
In a world that’s becoming more impersonal by the day, I make that difference.
