👩💻 Being an Entrepreneur: More Complicated Than Assembling IKEA Furniture
“Entrepreneurship Without a Manual (and With Too Many Screws)”
You think: “I’ll become an entrepreneur, then I’ll have freedom!”
Freedom to set your own hours, choose your own clients, maybe even work in your loungewear (with no one seeing it). Sounds great, right?
But what nobody tells you is that entrepreneurship doesn’t come with a manual. And that makes it sometimes even more complicated than an IKEA cabinet with 400 screws and a missing Allen key.
🎢 The Rollercoaster of Entrepreneurship
One day you feel like the CEO of a multinational, the next you wonder why you ever started this in the first place.
You write blogs,
you adjust your service packages,
you keep your website updated,
and at the same time, you’re trying to find clients who understand that you really are their lifesaver.
Recognizable? Well, welcome to my world.
👩🎤 An Entrepreneur Working for Entrepreneurs
The funny thing is: I support entrepreneurs, but at the same time I make all the choices that come with being an entrepreneur myself.
Being an entrepreneur isn’t just about having a Chamber of Commerce number. It’s about making decisions every day, reinventing yourself, investing without knowing if it will pay off, and above all: keeping going, even when nobody is watching.
So yes, I’m a Virtual Assistant. But I’m also an entrepreneur. And I know better than anyone that entrepreneurship sometimes feels like juggling flaming torches while riding a unicycle on a tightrope.
💡 Why This Is Actually Good News
Because I’m on that rollercoaster myself, I truly understand what my clients go through.
I know what it feels like to:
- Take on too much,
- Get frustrated by administration,
And sometimes think: “Can someone please just handle this for me?!”
And that’s exactly what I do. Not to take your torches away, but to make sure you don’t also have to juggle your invoices. 😉
✨ Conclusion: entrepreneurship is complicated. For you, for me, for everyone. But that’s exactly what makes it beautiful: we don’t do it because it’s easy, but because it gives us the freedom to choose our own path.
And for anyone thinking: “I wish I had an extra pair of hands” — I still have some room left 😉
